Chambray Utility Shorts.
This updated version of our popular Utility Short is constructed from 8oz 100% cotton chambray from renowned Italian mill, Berto. Founded in 1887, Berto originally wove fabric for boat sails, progressing to hardwearing fabric for workwear and then becoming respected denim experts.
We selected this chambray as a lighter fabric than denim. Chambray has its origins in workwear. Its plain weave - a coloured warp and a white weft - gives a depth of colour.
Like all Hawksmill products, it will age beautifully - it will fade, wear and wash down gradually, to give the fabric unique character. Hawksmill use the best fabrics, construction methods and highest quality fittings - natural sustainable corozo buttons.
