Introducing a new Hawksmill style for AW22, the Zip Blouson is the perfect multi season staple that hits the spot between shirt and jacket. In a mid-weight relaxed fit, it’s the perfect top layer for warmer days and a mid layer piece for when temperatures drop. It features two large chest pockets and lower side entry pockets for great storage.
This version is constructed from 8oz 100% Cotton Chambray from the renowned Italian mill Berto. Founded in 1887, Berto originally wove fabric for boat sails, progressing to hardwearing fabric for workwear and then becoming respected denim experts.
We chose this chambray as it is a lighter fabric than denim, with a plain weave - a dyed warp and a white weft which gives a depth.
Like all Hawksmill products it will age beautifully - it will fade, wear and wash down gradually, to give the fabric unique character. As always, we use the best fabrics, construction methods and highest quality fittings - natural sustainable Corozo buttons and RiRi zips.
